We held our Annual General Meeting in February and voted in a new committee for 2009. We are proud to introduce our executive....

PRESIDENT - Angela Copland - 0409947220 - conveyancing@poveystirk.com

Angela is a long-suffering Pony Club mother and came to the realisation if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Angela is a keen rider herself and her three children, two daughters Teagan and Nikola and son Justin, are keen ASPC members and competitors. We are very happy Angela has taken up the challenge of president this year. She has some great ideas to continue driving ASPC forward and ensure our riders have fun, develop their skills and abilities and have the opportunity to explore new equestrian skills.

VICE PRESIDENT - Katharine O'Donoghue - 0408834910

Katharine decided to join the ASPC committee after spending long hours hanging around Blatherskite Park waiting for her daughter Jemma to finish riding. Katharine and her husband Stewart are keen supporters of ASPC events. Katharine has also agreed to take on the event co-ordinator position to make sure our many competitions during the year run smoothly.

Lyn has taken up the challenge of Chief Instructor in 2009. Lyn has been a part of ASPC for many years and we are looking forward to her sharing her expertise.

SECRETARY - Mandy Taylor - 0414 634159

Mandy has years of experience in holding her daughter's horses and ponies, cleaning boots and dirty jodphurs and opening her wallet to pay for horse stuff.

TREASURER - Gary Spicer

We are very pleased to have secured Gary's services again. Gary has an extensive financial background (ANZ Bank Manager) but his horse experience is limited to helping his wife with her horses. Goes to show you dont have to ride to be a part of Pony Club.

A huge thankyou to volunteered for our Committee for 2009. So much of the clubs' success depends heavily on the support and help provided by our Committee Members.

Everyone on our Commitee has other commitments within the club whether it be as a parent of a club member, a riding member themselves or as an instructor as well.

We know it's alot of work but the results are always worth it!!!

We dont pay you but we certainly do appreciate you!!!
