We have just held our Annual General Meeting and are proud and excited to introduce our Committee for 2008...

PRESIDENT - Jane Grundy - 0409947220 - jane.grundy@aatkings.com.au

Jane was our fantastic President last year and we are thrilled that she decided to put up with us for another term. She has 2 of her own horses that she competes on and has been instrumental in the success and growth of our club. Jane has managed to secure several grants that have driven the improvement of the club and our riders in 2007.

VICE PRESIDENT - Louisa Spicer

Louisa has recently returned to Equestrian sports and has 2 horses that she has started competing in both Dressage and Jumping. Louisa has also undertaken our Fundraising Coordinators position as well as Vice President and we look forward to all of the great things we can do with the funds she raises for us this year. 

CHIEF INSTRUCTOR - Sonya Clark - 0428748018 - sunnorth0871@yahoo.com

Sonya was our Chief Instructor last year and with her on board our training sessions and competitions have almost doubled. She trained our SJ Team last year and we took home the NT SJ Champions Trophy...our first time back after almost 2 decades! Sonya also has an equine business and 4 horses that she competes in her spare time. Sonya is also the NT Instructor Coordinator and PCANT Instructor Training Coordinator.

SECRETARY - Jo Doyle

Jo has been with us for the last few years both as a parent and as a Committee member and her daughters are two of our most competitive Junior riders. We are thankful that she has taken time out of her parent/strapper duties to keep us organised in the year ahead.

TREASURER - Gary Spicer

Keeping it in the family... we have managed to secure Gary for a term as Treasurer. He was kind enough to take over from Lyn who was our fantastic 2007 Treasurer while she takes a break to focus on her riding. Gary has an extensive finacial background (ANZ Bank Manager) but his horse experience is limited to helping his wife with her horses. Goes to show you dont have to ride to be a part of Pony Club.

A huge thankyou to volunteered for our Committee for 2008. So much of the clubs success depends heavily on the support and help provided by our Committee Members.

Everyone on our Commitee has other commitments within the club whether it be as a parent of a club member, a riding member themselves or as an instructor as well.

We know it's alot of work but the results are always worth it!!!

We dont pay you but we certainly do appreciate you!!!
