Alice Springs Pony Club Inc.

Alice Springs Pony Club is a growing club that thrives on learning, fun and competition!

We are located at Blatherskite Park and have the use of fantastic facilities that include Club House, Dressage Arena, Rodeo Arena, Showjumps, Cross Country and miles and miles of scenic trail rides.

Some upcoming events are the Alice Springs Show and the ASPC Two Day Event.

We are very excited this year to have, along with our instructors and guest instructors, a special clinic from Olympic silver medallist Megan Jones! Click on the link on the right to register your interest for lessons with Megan.

You can find our rally and event calendar on this site. There may be some minor changes during the year but it's shaping up to be a busy and fun filled 2009. All members and anyone interested in joining is more than welcome. Most of our competitions are open to all. We try to work in with other Alice Springs equestrian clubs so we can all enjoy the full range of equestrian sports on offer. 

Our Rallies are usually held at least once a month on a Sunday morning and start at at 8.30am in summer and 9.00am in winter. All riders are expected by 7.30am for setup.

We cater for all ages and abilities and also have an Adult Riders Club with guest instructors.

Congratulations ASPC 2009 NT Champions.

The ASPC Showjumping Equitation team of Lucy Doyle, Tegan Copland, Carla Tanner, Sarah Ride and Jade Doyle have taken out the 2009 PCANT Showjumping title.

Congratulations also to our Dressage Team - Kate Averay, Tara McCormick, Jemma O'Donoghue, Thea deGraaf and Nikola Copland - who put in fantastic performances as well.

The teams would also like to thank coaches Kath North and Sam Hill in jumping and Judi McGrath and Matt Wharton in dressage.

Well done girls - we're very proud of your achievements.

7.30am set up for all riders. With the Alice Springs Show on the horizon we'll be working on skills needed for the show ring, as well as jumping instruction from special guest instructor Bob Wiltshire.
